We are able to provide administration of a UNIX operating system and its environment. The administration of users, printers, connectivity, memory and disk utilisation provides maximum potential and functionality of the system. The skills required for technical administration can become an expensive overhead to your budget, however our administration services allow you to reduce your costs by simply paying for the skills as and when they are required. The administration can be performed as an ongoing service, by remote connectivity or by on-site attendance.
UNIX Script Creation and Implementation
At times it can be convenient to produce UNIX scripts for functionality of repeated processes at specific intervals. This can be useful for numerous routines but is usually for backup procedures and archiving facilities. Our Technical Consultants are able to design, plan and implement and test UNIX scripts in accordance with your requirements. If you wish to give additional functionality to an already existing application one of our Consultant will interface with the third party vendor.
Creation of Automated Routines
After production of a UNIX script, on most occasions it is required to be executed at repeated intervals. As part of our service our Consultants can create automatic routines in conjunction with your needs. These can be used for back up, transferring data or for regular removal of unrequited data to a particular form of archive. Recovery Testing

Pricing Schedule
Our Administration charges are pre-set allowing you flexibility to budget for your costs at the initial planning stage. We do not adjust the pricing in accordance with specific administration requirements in comparison with our competitors. The charging is broken down to a daily rate and a day and is NOT restricted to a specific number of hours. We do not charge you any additional or hidden costs such as travelling or accommodation, our price is all-inclusive. We adhere to a simple fixed price policy, maintaining simple calculation of costs for all our requirements from Monday through to Friday.
Timescale
The estimated duration for a typical administration is a maximum of two days. If is required outside of normal hours, during the week, weekends, or during Bank Holidays, an uplift of 50% is added to the normal daily charge.
