Keystone Computer Group makes it two years in a row at the IT Oscars

Keystone Computer Group won again at this year's Channel Network Awards, taking first place in the 'SME IT Solution' category for its work at Leeds United Football Club. Now in its sixth year, the Channel Network Awards, or IT Oscars as it is known, took place on Thursday 16th October 2008 at the internationally renowned Hilton Hotel on Park Lane in London. This prestigious and famous venue seemed especially fitting for such a glamorous and momentous event, playing host to the best of the best within the IT industry.

Having won at the Channel Network Awards in 2007 for the best 'Enterprise IT Solution' by delivering first in class solutions to multi-national retailer Blacks Leisure Group, Keystone Computer Group are set for yet another year of unrivalled success by taking this year's 'SME IT Solution' award following the successful deployment of a fully designed Microsoft Enterprise solution in consolidation of legacy Novell servers for Leeds United Football Club.

Keystone has been the sole IT support provider for Leeds United Football Club since 2005, covering all aspects of their IT infrastructure. Leeds United Football Club requested a complete review of their IT environment after a major IT failure raised questions over reliability. Keystone designed, planned, managed and implemented a new IT infrastructure to meet the current and projected growth for Leeds United throughout their sites in the North East of England.

Leeds United's IT Manager, Mark Broadley, commented, "I have been extremely impressed with Keystone's capabilities both in a support and consultation capacity. Through their dedication and support they have assisted us to provide a stable and cost effective offering to our business."

"By winning this award, Keystone has again confirmed its ability to deliver mission critical systems across diverse platforms. The CNA awards are a mark of distinction that maintains Keystone as a leading edge UK IT Solution Provider" remarked Keystone's Sales Manager, Simon McAlpine.

"As the winner of the 2007 'Enterprise IT Solution' and the 2008 'SME IT Solution' awards, Keystone Computer Group is confirmed as an industry leader in Integrated IT Solutions. These achievements, not only motivate employees within the group, but reinforce our commitment, ability and credibility of IT solution delivery to both new and existing clients." - Jonathan Blake, Managing Director (Keystone Computer Group)

Leeds United Propel Keystone Computer Group to ICT Channel Oscars

Keystone Computer Group hopes to win big at this year's Channel Network Awards, having made the shortlist in two categories. Regarded as the ICT Channel Oscars, Keystone is a finalist in the 'Enterprise IT Solution' category for its implementation at a high-end retailer and in the 'SME IT Solution' for its work at Leeds United Football Club.

Having won the Channel Network Awards for the best 'Enterprise IT Solution' in 2007 by delivering virtualisation and consolidation on IBM POWER architecture for multi-national retailer Blacks Leisure Group, Keystone Computer Group is looking to make it a dual celebration this year. The CNA shortlist recognises Keystone's expertise in the 'Enterprise IT Solution' category again, this year for the successful implementation of IBM's POWER Systems and Storage in consolidation of unsupported Oracle applications for a top UK retailer.

Keystone also proves its credentials in the 'SME IT Solution' category following the successful deployment of a Microsoft Windows 2003 domain in consolidation of legacy Novell servers for Leeds United Football Club. Leeds United's IT Manager, Mark Broadley, comments, "I have been extremely impressed with Keystone's capabilities both in a support and consultation capacity. Through their dedication and support they have assisted us to provide a stable and cost effective offering to our business."

"To be shortlisted in two categories is a fantastic achievement," says Keystone's Sales Manager, Simon McAlpine. "It really does emphasise our ethos of providing true business solutions with a dedicated and professional team helping to solve ICT problems."
